Senior Social Hour

If you are 55 and older, join us for Senior Social Hour on Wednesdays at the Central Library. Each week we will have different activities and presenters where you can join in a fun activity, learn, and make friends.

Everyday actions can leave anyone open to identity theft. The Illinois Attorney General’s Office presents tips to prevent identity theft and ways to restore your financial profile if it happens to you.   

Learn to:  

1. Recognize common scams and their many variations  
2. Set up fraud alerts, security freezes, and opt-outs  
3. Report scams and manage the situation
