The CommonsWe’re proud to partner with The Bridge Youth & Family Services to offer dedicated support for Schaumburg Township youth and families. Starting this Fall, a care team member will be available during scheduled office hours to assess, refer, and respond to the high-stress needs that youth and families are facing.
Office Hours: Held at the Central Library on one Monday each month from 10-11 a.m.
Upcoming dates:
- Monday, September 15: 10-11 a.m.
- Monday, October 6: 10-11 a.m.
- Monday, November 3: 10-11 a.m.
No registration is required—just stop by.
Whether your child or family is looking for short-term help or need assistance navigating long-term support options, the The Bridge Care Team is here to help. Services include referrals and information related to:
- Mental health support
- Substance use resources
- Family counseling
- Educational guidance
- Community-based programs
- And more

With over 1 million visitors each year, the library circulates over 2,000,000 items annually and is the second largest public library in the state of Illinois.
