Mexican "milagritos" or "little miracles" are handicrafts in Mexican culture that symbolize personal hopes and dreams for the future. Most are made out of tin, and their design is a combination of Catholic and Aztec symbols. Paint your own clay "milagrito" using acrylic paint to instill in it a hope or dream of your own.
This program will be presented in English and Spanish.
Milagritos mexicanos son artesanías Mexicanas que simbolizan deseos y sueños para el futuro. La mayoría están hechos de hojalata y su diseño combina símbolos católicos y aztecas. Pinta tu propio milagrito de arcilla con pintura acrílica y transfiere un deseo o sueño propio por medio del pincel.
