Craft Room, Storytime RoomJoin us for a book club designed for children with autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing sensitivities, or disabilities. This month, we read aloud, talk about, and complete activities based on the book Adela's Mariachi Band by Denise Vega. Caregivers are encouraged to attend with their child; siblings are also welcome.
Adela loves everything about her family's mariachi band--except that she isn't in it!
From watching her family, Adela knows that practice makes perfect, but can she find a way to be part of the band in the meantime?
