Celebrate Banned Books Week (Oct. 6–10) by visiting any library location to explore our Periodic Table of Banned Books display. Discover why titles were challenged and how you can support intellectual freedom.
Books are arranged A–Z with cover images, reasons for censorship, and QR codes linking to our catalog—all titles are available at Schaumburg Library.
While you're here, take part in our letter-writing activity. Write to your congressperson about book bans, intellectual freedom, and the importance of access to diverse ideas and stories. The library provides supplies, adds postage, and mails the letters for you.
