Jeremy Saucier, Assistant Vice President of Interpretation and Electronic Games, from The Strong National Museum of Play in New York joins us to talk about how video games are seemingly everywhere, including the mobile phones we carry. But as we debate screen time, we often lose sight of how video games have connected us. We’ll discuss video game history and current research to explore video games as social spaces. Strong is one of the largest history museums in the United States and one of the leading museums serving families with highly interactive exhibits and programs. Strong houses the world’s largest and most comprehensive collection of historical materials related to play. Play has the power to teach, spark imagination, and create joy.
