Need help registering to vote? Head to any Schaumburg Library location where The League of Women Voters assists patrons with registering to vote. To register, you must:

• Be a United States Citizen.
• Be at least 17 years old on or before the date of the Primary Election and turn 18 on or before the date of the General or Consolidated Election (16-year-olds may preregister to vote).
• Live in your election precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day.
• Not be serving a sentence of confinement in any penal institution as a result of a conviction.
• You may not claim the right to vote anywhere else.

2 forms of ID are required.  One that has your name AND address, such as your driver's license or state ID and the 2nd one needs to have your name OR address, such as a piece of mail.
