We will break down the rhythms, percussion layers, and production techniques behind electronic dance music, and you will use those skills to build
your own original track. Along the way, we will talk about the producers from Nigeria, Ghana, the UK, and beyond who are shaping the sound of music globally right now. Register early as seats fill quickly.
Attend the Teen Music Collective for music production instruction from industry professional Jalen Little. Teens create on the Fruity Loops Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). On Thursdays, we learn new topics and concepts. Saturdays are work days to collaborate. No experience necessary; this class is for both beginners and more advanced music producers.
