Want to learn more about employment skills that will help you be a top-notch candidate? Join us in partnership with the Ray Graham Association, and work in teams to compete against others in a guessing game to identify key skills used in the workplace.
Name That Employment Skill is a scenario-based guessing activity. Patrons work individually or in teams to identify key skills demonstrated in common workplace situations. A short scenario is read aloud, and teams discuss and guess which skill, such as communication, flexibility, or emotional intelligence is being shown.
This activity encourages participants to think critically about how skills appear in real life settings and how they contribute to effective collaboration and problem-solving. It’s a practical way to build awareness and strengthen workplace readiness through discussion and reflection.
