Rasmussen SouthThe Memory Café is a free monthly social gathering for individuals living with dementia and a family member, friend, or care partner. Please register each caregiver as a guest of the person attending the program. Each session includes social time, a group activity, and light refreshments. This is presented in collaboration with the Freedom HomeCare, Encore Village, Lutheran Home, and JourneyCare Hospice.
At this meeting, we will discuss methods for self-care including the use of essential oils to help participants stay balanced through the upcoming holiday season. Attendees will make a scented lotion to take home and enjoy light refreshments.
