If you are 55 and older, join us for Senior Social Hour on Wednesdays from 2-3 pm in the Rasmussen Room at the Central Library. Each week we will have different activities and presenters where you can join in a fun activity, learn, and make friends.
Join Joey Cashmore of North Chicago Memorials for an introductory class on legacy writing where participants learn how to document and tell their story to loved ones in order to preserve their history for future generations and deepen current relationships with loved ones. “We all want to leave something of ourselves behind, so we are not forgotten.”
Cashmore also guides participants to start the first scrapbook page of their legacy book. Please bring a memorable photo of a close relative to this class, along with one of their features, for this activity.
