Harpist Abigail Stoner and flautist Gianna Capobianco play classical music as well as pop in a classical style (à la Bridgerton), filling the first floor with music of Austen's time.
About the Performers
Abigail Stoner is an active concert harpist and pianist and distinguished pedagogue based in the Chicago and west suburbs area. She has performed with numerous orchestras, ensembles, and pit orchestras including the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra, the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra, the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra, and many others. She has worked as a session artist, collaborating with artists such as singer/songwriter Casely, Streetlight Manifesto, and Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution.
Gianna Capobianco is a freelance flutist and teacher based in the Greater Chicagoland Area. She has a wide range of performing experience and plays with several local ensembles including Fox Valley Symphony and Wheaton Municipal Band. Gianna is the Flute Instructor at Aurora University and Elgin Community College and maintains a thriving private studio. She serves as Program Chair for the Chicago Flute Club and has written several articles for the CFC’s journal, Pipeline. Gianna received a Master of Music in Flute Performance and a Performer’s Certificate from Northern Illinois University.
