Can you write an engaging story in 1,000 words or less? Put your creativity to the test and submit your original work for a chance to be recognized. Library staff will select winners in four age categories:
Submissions will be accepted from September 15 to October 15, 2026.
Submit your entry online or drop off print copies at the Fiction and Youth Services Desks at Central or at either Branch.
Limit 2 entries per person.
Winners will be contacted after Oct. 30 and will be celebrated at the Local Author Fair on Saturday, November 7.
