Celebrate local talent and live music at this special Monday Night Concert featuring Chicago’s PipeDream! Known for their crowd-favorite rock hits from the ’60s to today, PipeDream delivers a tight, seasoned sound covering more than 60 artists — plus the occasional original song.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Sara Fujimura, winner of this year’s Soon to Be Famous Illinois Author Project, for her young adult historical fiction novel, Breathe. Sara is a proud resident and cardholder of the Schaumburg Township District Library.
Described as “intricately weaving the seriousness of the Spanish Flu, World War I, and the hopefulness of women on the cusp of gaining the right to vote with the exhilaration of falling in love and following your dream,” Breathe follows Ginny, a determined seventeen-year-old you’ll root for every step of the way.
Come meet and congratulate Sara, enjoy an evening of live music, and pick up a copy of Breathe while supplies last.
