Voter Registration with the League of Women Voters

The League of Women Voters is set up in the commons to assist patrons with voter registration. Primary elections for this year's midterms will be on March 17.

To register in person to vote, you must:

• Be a US citizen
• Be 18 by Nov. 3, 2026
• Show two physical (not digital) forms of ID to the registrar: a valid state driver's license or state ID, and one document showing your current address.
  If you do not have a valid state driver's license or state ID, you must provide the last four digits of your Social Security number.

To register online to vote, you must:

• Be a US citizen
• Be 18 by Nov. 3, 2026  (There are a few exceptions.)
• Enter your name, current address, and valid state ID#
• If you do not have a valid state ID, follow the instructions on the site.
  The statewide online voter registration address is ova.elections.il.gov 

 
The next election is March 17, 2026. It is a primary election. If you will be 18 by November 3, 2026, and are registered to vote, you may vote in the March primary election.
