Candidate Forums with the League of Women Voters
Gain insight about the upcoming primary elections as you hear candidates’ individual positions on a variety of topics in these exciting, non-partisan forums. There are separate forums for Republican primary candidates and for Democratic primary candidates. As we approach the forum date and the candidates for both parties are identified, this event posting will be updated to reflect the schedule and who will be on the forums. You can also watch www.lwvpalatinearea.org for specific details on times and forums, which will be available in January. Recordings of the forums are available on the League of Women Voter's YouTube page.
These forums are brought in partnership with the League of Women Voters of the Palatine, Barrington, and Schaumburg areas. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, and works to influence public policy through education and advocacy. Membership is open to all persons sixteen years of age and older.
