Make blackout poetry and display it in the Library in honor of National Poetry Month.
Please return your completed poetry art to the Teen Desk by March 28.
What is blackout poetry? It's a style of found poetry that involves creating a new poem by erasing or "blacking out" words from an existing text.
Supplies are provided in a program kit that you can pick up in Teen throughout March. Kits also available at the Branches.
These kits are for teens 12-19 years old and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.
