Michael Bothel’s journey in the field of deafness began as a certified interpreter in the state of Texas. With a rich and diverse career, He has served as an educational interpreter, community interpreter, and VRS interpreter, each role deepening his understanding and expertise in American Sign Language (ASL).
His dedication to education is evident from his tenure as an ASL teacher at Tarrant County College's interpreting training program, where he also contributed as a board advisor. Beyond academia, Michael extended his teaching to the US Post Office and the Goodrich Center for the Deaf, where he provided contract ASL instruction.
