The League of Women Voters moderates a panel discussion on the importance of running for local office positions and why you should run. The panel consists of the former president of the District 211 school board, the former Palatine Village clerk, a Palatine Township Chair, and a Schaumburg Library Board Trustee. After the program, panelists are available for a meet and greet to help answer further questions about getting involved in the local office.
This program is in partnership with The League of Women Voters of Palatine, Barrington, and Schaumburg Areas, a non-partisan organization dedicated to civic engagement.
