Join us for our non-fiction book discussion group. This month’s title is Last to Eat, Last to Learn: My Life in Afghanistan Fighting to Educate Women by Pashtana Durrani and Tamara Bralo

Pashtana Durrani, raised in a Pakistani refugee camp, defied expectations by founding LEARN to educate Afghan girls despite Taliban threats. Rejecting Oxford, she chose to fight for women's education and autonomy in Afghanistan. Last to Eat, Last to Learn shows how one person’s dedication can transform lives and communities.
