Join us for a thought-provoking, self-reflection exercise inspired by the artwork of Dr. Grishma Shah, a psychologist and self-taught painter who explores the depths of beauty, worth and identity. Through her work and her experiences as a woman of color with a disability, the artist challenges societal perceptions of womanhood, inviting us to see beauty in its many forms. Through activities, discussion, and authentic storytelling, Grishma aims to foster a more inclusive community.

Dr. Grishma Shah is a psychologist, filmmaker, and artist based in Chicago. A self-taught painter immersed in culture from her South Asian roots, Grishma pursued careers in psychology and public health while also engaging her true passion in the visual arts. With various accolades and certificates from the University of Illinois, National Louis University and Harvard University, her work focuses on understanding and influencing cultural shifts through authentic storytelling. Many of her clients are located in Hollywood and work in the entertainment industry.
