To kick off the 2025 season of Night with a Museum, Nicole Bagley, of The National Museum of the Pacific War's Director of Collections and Exhibits, shares historical facts about World War II. The National Museum of the Pacific War (NMPW) is recognized today as a world-class, cultural institution. A Smithsonian Affiliate and accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, NMPW provides the nation's most comprehensive account of World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific theater.
The galleries and main components of the campus of the National Museum of the Pacific War are properties of the State of Texas and overseen by the Texas Historical Commission (THC), in a public-private agreement. The Admiral Nimitz Foundation (ANF) is responsible for the daily operations of the Museum to include all educational programs, exhibit contents, commemorative ceremonies, rental operations, and fundraising.
