Do you have a band? Make beats on your laptop? We've started the Teen Record Label Project to help you get your music published on streaming platforms at no cost to you! Join a professional sound engineer to discuss recording and publishing music online. No experience necessary, this class is for both beginners and for more advanced music producers.
Can't make the class and don't have recording equipment at home? No problem! Audio recording kits are available to check out from the Library. (You'll need your own Library card.) Kits contain a laptop (recording with the audio program Logic Pro) and MIDI Controller (synthesizer keyboard).
On Saturdays, this program will meet in the temporary teen space, inside the new Local History Room on the 2nd floor of the Central Library. On Tuesdays, it will meeting in the Program Room inside the kids area on the 1st floor of the Central Library.
