Discover your family history and find your ancestors’ stories. Using a list of more than 25 free websites, this class will help you start your journey. We'll discuss tips to using genealogical websites more efficiently and organizing your information. This can serve as a great refresher course for experienced genealogy enthusiasts, too.
Presenter Jacquie Schattner has been actively researching her family's ancestors since 1996. She currently volunteers at the Arlington Heights Library Genealogy Room, and teaches genealogy for District 211 and 214 Adult Continuing Education. She is active in several genealogy societies, including CAGGNI and Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society.
