Online: The Golden Age of Piracy and Grace O'Malley's Legacy
Tuesday, January 19
7:00pm - 8:00pm
Wil Moser, lead educator at the Whydah Pirate Museum, guides you through piracy from the 1650s to the 1730s. While pirate queen Grace O'Malley was no longer alive at this point, her legacy loomed large and continued to influence the world of piracy.
Meet the Speaker: Wil Moser has been working with the museum for just over four years now. The Whydah Pirate Museum's mission is dedicated to the recovery, preservation, and continued education of the rich history of pirates, focusing on the Whydah: a slave galleon turned pirate warship by Black Sam Bellamy.
