Town SquareKick off the summer with us at our Summer Challenge Block Party, happening outdoors in Town Square!
Be among the first to register for the Summer Challenge, pick up your reading logs, and grab your registration prizes—all while enjoying music and games.
This all-ages celebration features:
- The band Soda will be performing your favorite family-friendly hits
- Yard games and activities
- The Environmental Fair, presented in partnership with the Village of Schaumburg
This year’s Summer Challenge theme, Plant a Seed, Read, comes to life through the Environmental Fair, where you can:
- Visit exhibitor tables both outside in Town Square and inside the Library
- Connect with local environmental organizations
- Learn about sustainability, conservation, and community initiatives
Native Garden Design Session, 2pm (inside the Library):
Curious about adding native plants to your yard? Hear from local experts about how to design a beautiful, sustainable garden using native species. Village staff will also share Schaumburg guidelines and practical tips to get started.
Come celebrate the start of summer, connect with your community, and plant the seeds for a season full of reading and discovery!
