Elizabeth Kahura, a Kenyan native in the United States since 1995, serves as a cultural ambassador for African knowledge. Over two decades, her African Safari Program has engaged more than 20,000 audience members. As a storyteller, musician, and teacher, Elizabeth educates and entertains audiences through folklore, music, language, and creative arts.
This program is online on Zoom. After registering, you receive a link to the Zoom webinar at least three hours before the program. A recording of this program is available on the Algonquin Area Public Library District's YouTube page. The recording is available until January 31 2026.
