Please join us for our non-fiction historical book discussion. This month's title is: The Invisible Wall: A Love Story that Broke Barriers by Harry Bernstein.
In a small English mill town in the early 1900s, a narrow street is divided by an “invisible wall” separating Jewish and Christian families. Young Harry Bernstein grows up amid poverty, a troubled father, and a resilient mother with dreams of a better life. When his sister Lily falls in love with a Christian boy from across the street, Harry is forced to confront deep-rooted prejudice and choose between loyalty, tradition, and truth.
