Discover the renowned Korean artist Youngmin Lee and the traditional art form of bojagi, for which she is best known.
Youngmin Lee is a Korean-born artist who has explored and mastered the art of bojagi and maedub. She has had her work displayed in numerous art museums across the world.
Bojagi is a form of wrapping cloth that is one of the most unique forms of textile art from Korea. Bojagi are typically made in a square shape and come in a wide range of sizes. During this program, we use fabric, hot glue, and inspiration from Youngmin Lee’s work to create a bojagi.
