In recognition of how important the support of a community is in our day-to-day lives, the Library and the Township of Schaumburg have partnered together for a volunteer opportunity. The Township is asking for donations of new, unused throw blankets to put in care packages. The throw blankets can be dropped off directly at the Township located at: 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates. They will be accepting throw blanket donations through Jan. 22.
For questions please call Katy Trent, Community Relations Coordinator at: (847) 884.0030.
Part of our One Book, One Community, this program focuses on the theme of community.
