Virtual Volunteens allows students in 7th-12th grades to earn service hours and give back to our community from the safety of their homes. We are utilizing opportunities through CardzForKidz (decorate and write cards to kids in the hospital), Letters of Love (decorate and write a card to an elder), #OperationGratitude (write a virtual postcard to a first responder), and #WeWereHere (share your experience of how you are dealing with COVID-19). In the program we will explain how to successfully complete all four experiences.
After registering, you will receive a link to the Zoom webinar at least one hour in advance of the program. Don't see the email? Check your spam folder!
Request the Program Kit when you register. The kit includes four blank cards with envelopes, washi tape and other craft materials for card making.
You may need markers, crayons, scissors or glue to complete this activity. If you do not have these items, you may request Basic Art Supplies when you register. Please note that each person can only receive these materials once; not once per program.
