Conant Varsity Chess Team members Akshay Brahmbhatt and Harsh Shah instruct this camp for beginner players wanting to learn chess. Over a 6-week period, students in grades 4 through high school learn how the pieces move, beginning strategy, openings and tactics which will help you become a better chess player. Participants will need access to two devices: one for the Zoom meeting and one with a chess.com account which is free of charge. Please create your account before class begins.
This program will take place online on Zoom. After registering, you will receive a link to the Zoom webinar at least one hour in advance of the program.
