Our Summer Challenge is officially over on Saturday, August 15th and we're inviting everyone to make some chalk art on that day to celebrate our reading successes this summer!
You can draw the characters from the Summer Challenge or anything along the theme of Dig Deeper, then take a photo of your chalk art and share it with us or with the world!
You can post your art to social media using the #DigDeeper tag, and don't forget to tag @schaumlib on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook so we're sure to see it! Or you can email a photo to read@stdl.org.
We are going to be handing out gift certificates for the top three entries! We have three $50 gift cards for the very best chalk drawings by a kid, teen or adult!
If you'd like to be considered for the prize, be sure to either post to your social media using the #DigDeeper hashtag or tagging @schaumlib, or email us at read@stdl.org and don't forget to include the following, or we won't be able to consider your art for a prize:
- artist's first name
- artist's age
- photo
Deadline to send in your entries is midnight on Saturday, August 15, 2020! Winners will be notified by Friday, August 21, 2020.
