See the history, art, and music in motion of the Tempel Lippizans as we visit the beautiful rolling hills of Tempel Farms in Old Mill Creek, Illinois.
Our group will enjoy a captivating performance of these elegant horses, showcasing this classical art through the beauty of dressage, synchronized movements, and harmony between horse and rider. Modeled after the famed Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria, Tempel Farms holds the largest privately owned Lippizan herd in the world and its public performances are the only Lippizan show of its kind in the United States. Before the show, enjoy a wonderful lunch at the Chocolate Sanctuary Restaurant in Gurnee. This trip requires moderate walking.
