Based on her new book, Sisters of Influence: A Biography of Zina, Amy, and Rose Fay, author Andrea Friederici Ross and historic interpreter Ellie Carlson share the story of the Fay sisters. As Friederici Ross shares her research, Carlson enhances the presentation by portraying her interpretation of Rose Fay.
About the Book: Sisters of Influence: A Biography of Zina, Amy, and Rose Fay illuminates the shifting roles of women during a transformative era. From advocating for women’s education to advancing the arts and social reform, Zina, Amy, and Rose exemplify the resilience and determination that bridged the restrictive norms of the Victorian age and the activism of the Progressive Era. Their remarkable journeys will inspire readers to reimagine the possibilities of women’s contributions to history and culture.
