To celebrate Women’s History Month, we will explore the art style of Indigenous Australian artist and children’s book illustrator, Bronwyn Bancroft. Create a painting inspired by her colorful and dot-filled artwork.
Bronwyn Bancroft is an Aboriginal Australian artist and children’s book illustrator who has published over 50 books. She is also among the first Australian fashion designers to show their work in Paris. Bancroft’s work focuses on the beautiful landscapes of Australia and the ongoing initiatives to support Aboriginal communities. Within her artistic works, she seeks to empower women and Indigenous communities within Australia and around the world.
