Join us for the MLK Day of Service at Feed My Starving Children at 7PM, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy of community service. This event provides an opportunity to give back by volunteering your time to pack nutritious meals for children in need around the world. Organized by the Schaumburg Township District Library (STDL), this program emphasizes the importance of unity and helping others, just as Dr. King advocated. Registration is required, so sign up through STDL and make a difference this MLK Day!
Feed My Starving Children states that the minimum age for volunteering is 5 years old. For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed to participate in packing sessions.
Everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. (More information about sessions can be found on the Feed My Starving Children's Website here)
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time at Feed My Starving Children (740 Wiley Farm Ct, Schaumburg, IL 60173). Staff members from STDL will be there for assistance.
