The Schaumburg Library in partnership with the League of Women Voters will be continuing their Civic Awareness Series discussion gun violence prevention. We’ll explore gun violence through the lens of domestic violence and the social and economic circumstances that often lead to it.
The panelists will include Sarah Knizhnik, Chair of Gun Violence Prevention Initiative for the Lake County State's Attorney's Office and Maralea Negron, Director of Policy, Advocacy and Research for The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence.
The Civic Awareness Series is a program brought in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Palatine. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization.
