For this month's Civic Awareness Series the Schaumburg Library and the League of Women Voters will be hosting FairVote Illinois as they lead us in an interactive presentation on Rank Choice Voting. They will be going over the basics of what it is and leading us in a tasty exercise to show us how it works. As part of the program guests will be offered the opportunity to practice rank choice voting on 4 kinds of pizza - cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and veggie.
Guests who register and join us for the in-person session will have pizza provided to them! Guests who register for the Zoom link only will still be able to participate in the exercise, but won't have the pizza.
You can choose to attend this program in-person or watch online on Zoom. Please indicate your preference when registering. After registering, you will receive a link to the Zoom webinar at least three hours in advance of the program. If you prefer, you can watch the event live streamed on YouTube.com/@SchaumLib.
Want to switch your attendance preference from online to in-person (or vice versa)? No problem! Just give us a call at (847) 923-3347 and we'll take care of that for you.
A recording of this program will be available at YouTube.com/@SchaumLib approximately 24 hours after the program is completed.
