The Extra class license is the highest of all three amateur radio licenses. To upgrade to Extra class, you must hold a General class license (or have recently passed the General license exam).  Upgrading to Extra class is your ticket to every privilege granted to amateur radio operators — all frequencies, including 80-meter DX watering holes and exclusive portions of 40, 20, and 15 meters.

This 10-week course presents information you will need to pass the exam and become an effective operator. This course covers:
