Come early to review genealogical materials. At 7:45 p.m., guest speaker Steve Szabados will discuss ways to use DNA testing in your genealogy research.
DNA testing is a popular new topic in genealogy due to the rise of in-home DNA tests and their promises to unlock secrets in your genealogy research. In some cases, DNA results have been powerful in producing clues, but many times, the results are confusing. Speaker Steve Szabados will share his own experience with the DNA test he submitted which led him to a secret portion of his ancestry that one of his ancestors took to her grave.
