Join us for some poetry in motion as we explore the forest through our senses while using one of the most inspiring nature based poetesses, Mary Oliver, to guide us with her words. To begin, you'll receive copies of the poems along with journals to write or draw your reflections during the walk. We'll end the walk with a tea ceremony and poetry reading.
About the guide: Navraaz Kaur Basati is a certified Horticultural Therapist, Forest Therapy Guide and Yogi located in the Chicagoland area. With an extensive background in conservation, regenerative gardening, restoration and therapeutic practices, she provides a unique perspective to the guided walks that incorporates sensory work along with biophilic elements.
