Presenter Tish Robinson will enlighten us about The Dreyfus Affair, a significant event in French history, which divided France into fiercely opposing camps at the end of the 19th century. Impressionist painters Monet, Pissarro, Renoir and Degas were equally divided over the affair. Set against the backdrop of the political, artistic and intellectual climate of Belle Epoque Paris, this presentation will reflect each artist’s position and the roles they played in this tragic miscarriage of justice.
