Care to jump on board and take in some local flavor? This is your chance to learn the history that Schaumburg Township has to offer!
In conjunction with Schaumburg Township and the Schaumburg Township Historical Society, the Schaumburg Township District Library will be sponsoring an historic bus tour to celebrate Illinois’ Bicentennial. We will travel to various historic sites in our township and see houses, barns, churches, businesses and cemeteries. Stops will be made at St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Paul Schweikher House and the Sunderlage House. Come along for the ride and stay for the interesting details!
Tours begin and end at Schaumburg Township, 1 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates. Starting times are 12:30 and 12:45. (Buses will begin boarding 30 minutes prior to tour start times.) Length is approximately 2 hours.
Cost: $10. Ages 18 and older.
