Join us for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read discussion of The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. The story follows the Ganguli family as they leave their lives and family in Calcutta behind and immigrate to America. Gogol Ganguli, their first born, stumbles as he searches for his identity in a blend of Indian and American cultures. Free copies are available for checkout at all Library locations.
