World War II marked the first time Americans could learn about war developments from radio. Those Were the Days host Steve Darnall will describe how radio addressed the challenges of bringing a World War to a listening audience, with excerpts of presidential speeches, news broadcasts, entertainment shows and programs created to educate and boost morale on the home front.
